Well, Poppy Winters show was a success!
SO many thanks to all of the friends and family that came out to join us at our first gig. The folks who represent Finn didn't seem too thrilled about the change of genre (it's a pretty intense shift, mind you) but that's okay. It's my adolescent dream being realized and I'm going to ride it out as long as humanly possible.
We can only go up from here, ladies. Cheers!
This past Sunday, I started working on the mural at the Brickhouse Theatre in North Hollywood. As exciting as it is to have an entire wall to paint, doing so in 100 degree weather with only one or two other friends (Thank you!!!) that came to help out was quite a grueling task with many water, food and nap breaks.
I have an idea for the final product and hopefully my brain can translate it well enough to my hands.
It's better to be overwhelmingly busy than have nothing at all to do. I am grateful.
Idle hands are the devils playground, after all.

Someone told me recently that the only way to truly do something innovative and fresh is to completely remove oneself from society and get so lost within the crazy folds of ones own mind that the only option left is to be inspired.
